Parker is getting SO big! I cant believe he is almost 5 years old!! I may be a little biased, but I think he is just the cutest boy in the world! :)

My first attempt at Christmas card pics

I got this adorable hat for Caelynn to wear in our Christmas card photos. Considering it is still about 90 degrees outside, she won't wear it for long. We did manage to get a few cute pics out of the trip. I may reatke later, but for now, this is what I've got. Only 10 weeks till Christmas!!!

Kids...

I thought I would add some sweet photos of my kids. Since I was absent on the blog for a while, here are a couple pictures that I just love. The first two are in a flower field near by and yes...I know Caelynn has a goofy grin on. But that's why I love it! She was being so silly that day! the third is Caelynn playing with two baby dolls that were mine when i was her age. I thought it was sweet to see her playing with the same toys I remember playing with :)

A walk by the lake

The kids and I went to my moms yesterday and decided to take a walk down by the lake. I grabbed the camera just in case. Caelynn had a great time walking in the water and Parker got a chance to swim a little before we went back up to the house. I was pretty sunny out, so I didnt get many pics of their little faces. They were squinting whenever they looked at me. I just love capturing real, unposed moments. The photo of their feet is my favorite.

The last beach day this summer :(

Mike and I decided to take the kids to the beach one last time this summer before it gets too cold. We had a great time! The weather was just PERFECT!! The kids had a blast playing in the ocean and building sand castles. I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted because I was too busy playing with the kids. And I didnt want to take my good camera out to the beach, so I used my hubby's little pocket size camera. The pics are not that good, but Im glad I got a couple to capture this great day!

Blogging....hmmm

Okay, so I admit. I am a skeptic. I have tried blogging in the past with less than satisfactory resluts. however, I have recently been encouraged by my friend Mandy, to try it again. Im not really sure what to say so I guess I will start by introducing myself. My name is Taryn. I am the designer and seamtress behind Periwinkle Lane Designs. Never heard of me? Well, you will. I assure you. :) I have two beautiful children. Parker is 4 and Caelynn is 14 months. I am currently selling girls boutique clothing on eBay, but I also design boy clothing, baby items, blankets, room decor, murals, pillows, bedding and more. My husband, Mike, is very supportive and tolerant of my mess. He is a wonderful man and the love of my life. I live in beautiful, sunny Florida. I love it here. (except for the alligators and the hurricanes and the humidity) I am going to have to wrap this up because my daughter just woke up from her nap. Thanks for looking at my blog.
